SpinifexIT’s 2025.R2 Release - Overview

This year's first version, 2025.R2, will showcase a number of new features and updates as SpinifexIT continuously enhances all of its solutions.

All the key changes for this version are summarized in the sections below, with some enhancements individually documented in the Help Center for more details. 

General Items

• Report Description is now viewable and editable using a Rich Text Editor, allowing enhanced control over text styling and formatting

• Ability to generate headers and/or footers for each interface file based on the Maximum Number of Records Per File option

• Merge Start Date and Merge End Date are now available under Miscellaneous Fields to help users easily set merge date ranges and identify them in the report output

• Added Next Period to the Report Data Period option, giving users flexibility in date selection and reducing the need to manually trigger reports defaulting to the previous/current period 

• Included Sel Begin Date and Sel End Date in PD Structural Report to reflect true relationship dates from cascading parent levels

• Users can now customize Background Job Name when executing a report using Execute Report in Background (Immediately)
  
  • Executed Background Jobs from Easy Reporter will appear in Easy Reporter Web

• New Background Job Desc field to help display the job description and report name so users can better identify the Background jobs which were run via the Bulk Selection

• New General System Settings screen as a separate menu item under the existing structure:
  • Updated access, edit and display functions
  • Tabbed layout for better structure and ease of use
  • Updated Edit mode to support multi-tab changes, unified Save action, and exit prompt for unsaved edits

• Common SpinifexIT roles are now available in a transport for easy installation and assignment with predefined authorizations

• Artificial Intelligence (AI) Functionality in Easy Reporter *This functionality requires additional activation on top of the standard Easy Reporter.
  • Ability to refine text entered on Description screen using Generative AI
  • Automatic build of documentation based on Report Columns/Setup
  • SpinifexIT Copilot - Integrated into SAP GUI Easy Reporter to deliver real-time Zendesk support content

New fields / tables / infotypes and clusters

• Report on the following new Infotype fields: 
  • 0397 - (BR) Additional Fields (Brazil) under Infotype 0021 - Family Member/Dependents
    • Dependency description
    • Dependent in private health plan
  
  
  • 0156 Tax Deductions
    • Special payment opt. for the reduct. of the tax wedge
    • Further deduction opt. for the reduct. of the tax wedge

• New Infotypes:
  • 3450 Sickness Insurance Benefits DZNP (Czech Republic)
  • 3451 Submission of DZNP (CZ) (Czech Republic)
  • 0389 - Income Tax AR (Argentina)
  • 0392 - Social Insurance AR (Argentina)
  • 0799 - AFI Message Data

Activation Tool

• Activations / System and Usage Details Usage:
  • Refined component-specific mappings in Usage Summary for clearer product usage insights

Automation Testing Tool

• Ability to support email attachment comparison through a Use the original File Output method setting and the addition of two new columns in the Test Comparison Group View Difference screen: Email Output and View Email
  

• New View All / View Difference toggle button that provides users the option to view either the full list of original records or only those with differences

• New pop-up warning before executing Test Scenarios to help users identify records that are not uniquely sorted and avoid mismatches

*The following solutions/integrations require additional activation on top of the standard Easy Reporter.

Easy Reporter Web

• Improved reorder log in Reorder Menu screen:
  • Moved To column now displays a clickable navigation path for the reordered menu item
  • Position column starts at 1, accurately showing item order

• New Include Manager's data in Report Output checkbox (under Manager Self Service Report (MSS)) to add the manager’s details to the report

• All background jobs from Easy Reporter SAP GUI or Web GUI, immediate or scheduled, now appear in Easy Reporter Web’s Background Results tab

Easy Reporter for SuccessFactors

• Ability to search and filter SuccessFactors fields using the Field Path within the Technical Field Name

• New Minimum SF token expiry time (seconds) setting in General System Settings to simplify user configuration

• New pre-delivered content for Employee Central

Easy Reporter Cloud Integration Connector

• New header buttons added: Collapse/Expand and Pin for improved navigation

• New Cloud Integration (CI) settings to support secure Cloud Integration API access

• Display of Cloud Integration (CI) Details in Easy Reporter Web:
  
  • Clicking Display now opens a window with CI run details: Status, Properties, Artifact Details and Error Logs

• Executed Reports – Bulk Actions and User Interface Enhancements:
  • Checkboxes added per result; selecting items shows a toolbar for bulk download/delete and displays the count of selected result
  • Confirmation popups added for bulk download/delete to inform users of potential delays and prevent irreversible deletions
  • Includes confirmation prompts and temporary disabling of actions during processing

• New Validation Rules Alerts menu for displaying PCC errors per employee to improve payroll validation and reduce support investigation time 

• New reports, validation rules, KPI group and section added for Germany for Easy PCC use

• Ability to bypass checks per employee by assigning a Default Processor for validation errors via Processor Assignment Settings

• A new configuration under SuccessFactors General Settings allows control over the Hit List tree display, enabling users to add or remove nodes based on availability in the Employee Central system

• Additional table configuration for German Payroll to enable users to configure additional “T5*” and “P01*” tables for German Payroll data

• German Payroll Tables updated with the renamed folder Taxes (ELStAM, LStB, LStA, StADÜV) and addition of specified tables under it in Easy Clone

• Ability to clone United States (US) and Saudi Arabia (SA) employees from old to new Country Grouping
  • New Country Grouping Override section in General Settings for specifying the new target country grouping and determining whether the old country grouping will be overridden
    

SuccessFactors Integration

• Extended sequence number limit to more than 999 unique Sequence numbers when customizing Scramble Rules

• National ID Scrambling enhancement extended:
  • National ID Scrambling support added to enable National ID scrambling for employees in specified countries
  • New Nation ID table to store random national IDs by Country and Card type
  • Maintenance view for authorized users to manage national IDs per Country and Card type
  • Pre-delivered random IDs included for USA (SSN), Australia (TFN), and Turkey (TR)
  • New user exit RANDOM_NATID created to enable national ID scrambling

• Reason Codes can now be grouped by scenario setup to have more focused and relevant comparisons in validation runs, following the same logic as Status Code grouping

• Ability to regenerate table maintenance with the One Step method for faster and simplified Reason Code setup on a single screen

• Added summary fields for Ticket Case and Reason to show count of Case Numbers and Reason Codes in the comparison report

• Drag-and-drop functionality in Scenario Setup now allows users to reorder menus and move folders inside or below other folders

• Improved Integration of Filtering with Mass Update of Status:
  • Filtered Override Status now supports filtering records based on the selected modified status
  • Confirmation pop-up for added filters to to notify users
  • More accurate statistics display after saving changes

• Introduced a Report Reference field in the Automation Testing Scenarios screen for quick visibility of the report number without using the Change Report button

• Easy Validate Dashboard is now part of the standard Easy Validate menu for easier access

• Continuous content building and updates to enhance functionality, improve user experience, and support evolving validation needs

• New preview display option in Client Builder, Show Table List Format checkbox, switches the preview from IMG (Configuration Implementation Guide) format to an alphabetical table list, making it easier to find tables while retaining all dependencies and relationships

• Preview results now align with actual copy results when Copy all table configuration is enabled, eliminating discrepancies

• Added Find and Find Next buttons to search tables and navigate the Hits List

• Implementation of new and enhanced copy types to separate Finance from Payroll data, improving clarity and preventing accidental overwrites:
  • New Copy Type: CB_PAY_13 – 1.3 Payroll & Finance Topup
    • Introduced to separate key Finance tables from CB_PAY_11 1.1 Payroll Config Topup
    • Finance tables moved to CB_PAY_13 – 1.3 Payroll & Finance Topup

  • Update to CB_PAY_11 – 1.1 Payroll Config Topup
    • Public Holiday-related tables are now included in this copy type
• New predelivered Copy Type: CB_PAY_70 7.0 Org Mgmt & PD Data
  • Alternative to Easy Clone for copying Organizational Management (OM) and Personnel Development (PD) data via Easy Migration
  • Allows data validation even when Easy Clone is used
  • Supports full overwrite by clearing target tables before copy

• Easy Update as Report Type now in Easy Reporter: Easy Update-activated users can build pre-delivered reports in Easy Reporter, with a 50-employee execution cap and full execution in Easy Update
