That said, an email will be sent to Strato clients with a link provided to automatically upgrade their Strato systems to use the new certificate. These necessary changes can already be applied even before December 31 to avoid losing access to Strato. Without this change, Strato will stop working with SuccessFactors.
Since the steps might introduce a downtime, it is highly recommended to make them in the following sequence:
- In SuccessFactors provisioning, either you or your implementation partner will need to go to Authorized SP Assertion Consumer Service Settings and find the entry with the URL of Strato.
- Please select Other Application under Application Name and check the box under SHA-256 Certificate.
Note: Once it has been saved, this operation cannot be reversed and Strato will not be able to connect to your SuccessFactors instance. - Access the link from the email forwarded to automatically upgrade your system to use the new certificate.
From the email, a link will be provided with this path: https://SYSTEM_URL_OF_CUSTOMER/SHA256Service?action=VIEW which will then redirect to this page:

The I agree box should be ticked, then the Apply Changes button.

Once the changes have been accepted, the system will automatically update with the SHA-256 certificate and Strato will be connected again to SuccessFactors.
