Viewing and Accessing Files and Folders via Grid View
Overview
Strato introduces the Grid View option in Storage Management for a visually structured file preview experience. Users can switch from the conventional and default List View to a thumbnail-based layout via the Grid View action button.
Feature
The Grid View action button in Storage Management offers users the ability to preview files using large thumbnail icons. This feature allows users to visually identify files and quickly assess their content through a large thumbnail view.
Viewing and Accessing Files and Folders via Grid View
To enable the Grid View option in Storage Management, you can switch the viewing option from 'List View' to 'Grid View' by clicking the 'Grid View' icon located in the top-right corner of the screen.
Follow these steps to perform actions available for a Folder in a Grid View layout:
1. Hover your mouse over the desired folder to be viewed.
2. Click the ‘i’ icon located on the top-right corner of the folder to view the Folder Information page.
Follow these steps to access the available actions you can perform for every file in Grid View:
1. To perform actions on an individual file in Storage Management, hover your mouse to the thumbnail of your chosen file.
2. Click the ‘i’ icon on the upper-right side of the thumbnail to view the File Information page of the file.
3. To access more actions, click the ‘More’ icon located at the upper right corner of the thumbnail. This will enable you to Preview, Download, and Delete the file.
4. To perform actions on multiple files, tick the checkboxes on the upper left corner of the files once hovered. Available action buttons will then appear at the upper section of the page.
