Overview
One of the enhancements introduced in Strato’s latest 1.21 version is the inclusion of Switzerland Number Format in Strato Documents. In compliance with Switzerland’s number formatting conventions, users may now format numbers, decimals, and currency using the Switzerland Number Format.
Functionality
Users can access this format as a new grouping separator in the Data Format section of the Document Template Editor. With the Switzerland Number Format’s grouping separator, users can:
- Use an apostrophe (‘) as a thousand separator when writing numbers in values and in accordance with Switzerland’s number formatting conventions.
Configuration
This enhancement is available both in Column Settings and Field Settings. Follow these steps to format a value using the Switzerland Number Format:
1. For Column Settings: From the Data Format section, select the apostrophe (‘) as a grouping separator and the period (.) as a decimal separator.
For Field Settings: From the Data Format section, select the apostrophe (‘) as a grouping separator and the period (.) as a decimal separator.
2. Once configured, the formatted values in the generated document will reflect the conventions of the Switzerland Number Format. See highlighted values in the figure below.
