Web Reporting not loading - issue update - May 23rd 2022

On May 23rd 2022, the Easy Reporter Web Reporting solution  has been reported as not loading / not working anymore 

Symptom

Launching Web Reporting  stays on the launching page with the dots keeping on loading

Who is impacted?

All Customers using Web Reporting  (Or Easy PCC  through Web Reporting) regardless of their Easy Reporter version

Who is not impacted?

Normal Easy Reporter users accessing Easy Reporter via SAP GUI or WebGUI

Root Cause

The cause of the problem is that the Web Reporting Solution uses a SAP Library that controls the look and feel of the solution (UI5 Library).  The version of this library that the Web Reporting solution is using has been recently removed from the SAP servers.  

What is the solution?

Apply one emergency fix through a transport : This should be installed into your environment to resolve this issue. 

The fix contains a replacement web file that points to a more recent SAP UI5 Library and rehosting of the library, this current solution replaces the temporary fix delivered last Monday May 23rd.
