We’re introducing a new suite of enhancements under the 1.23.700 release version to elevate user control and security across Strato. Our New Strato Authorization Framework has been further developed to enable creating and managing policies, complemented by a new capability that allows users to select existing objects in Storage Data. We’ve also activated OAuth authentication for secure API file uploads within the Storage Deck, and extended encryption in Strato Automate to prevent corruption of non-PDF attachments. Workflow execution via Strato Automate is made smoother with a newly added Language Parameter, and our Enhanced Logging feature now tracks more user activities for better security and oversight.

Enhancements and New Features
(Refer to Upgrade Center for more information regarding the Alpha and Beta release versions of Strato.)
We have developed a new microservice to address the issue of corrupted non-PDF email attachments, ensuring they are securely converted to encrypted ZIP files before being transmitted as email attachments. This not only enhances the security of transmitted files but also maintains the integrity of password-protected non-PDF files (such as XLSX, CSV, TXT, and XML files).
Workflow Execution Improvements - New Language Parameter (Alpha Version)
(Refer to Upgrade Center for more information regarding the Alpha and Beta release versions of Strato.)
Strato now enables users to define their preferred languages directly in the Workflow’s Set Container Values step via the new Language Parameter, allowing for the display of actual Picklist label values rather than numerical IDs. This feature makes monitoring workflow processes simpler and more efficient, with enhanced visibility through the Debug Info on the Workflow Dashboard.
New Strato Authorization Framework - Policies (Alpha Version)
(Refer to Upgrade Center for more information regarding the Alpha and Beta release versions of Strato.)
Users can now create, clone, edit, and delete policies via Strato’s more intuitive Authorization Framework. This enhancement allows users to modify policy names, descriptions, and permissions with an added layer of control to set or deny permissions. Now, administrators can also select from existing objects under the Data Object feature, enhancing the customization of policies.
Secured File Uploads - oAuth Authentication (Alpha Version)
(Refer to Upgrade Center for more information regarding the Alpha and Beta release versions of Strato.)
Our improved Storage Deck API now supports OAuth authentication for file uploads. This update ensures that file uploads are not only secure but also easy to handle, as OAuth tokens can be conveniently acquired and formatted through the Strato Admin Tool, providing a streamlined process for secure file storage within the Strato system
Enhanced Logging - Additional User Activities (Alpha Version)
(Refer to Upgrade Center for more information regarding the Alpha and Beta release versions of Strato.)
Our logging capabilities have been further refined to track critical user activities, such as opening the Preview Screen from the User Decision Step and logging into Strato with a password. While these user logs are currently not directly accessible to customers, they can be retrieved by requesting our support team for assistance, ensuring greater monitoring and accountability within the Strato environment.
Other Updates
The following fixes were deployed in Strato's 1.23.700 Version:
Dashboard Filters Not Shown When Configuring Tab Settings [ZD 24988]
The system now correctly updates property handling filters in the Dashboard to ensure that they remain intact and preserve user configurations when changes in the tab settings are configured. Previously, changes made, such as renaming tabs, resulted in the loss of defined filters due to an issue where the filters were set to an undefined property.
List Sorting Issues for Custom Entities [ZD 24437]
A more structured and user-friendly Custom Entity list was created for easier management and navigation of custom entities in Field Settings. Previously, the listing of custom entities was confusing due to the lack of order and inconsistent display of results in the popup list. To address this, entities are now displayed in an organized manner, with 10 results shown at a time and ordered alphabetically.
Formatting changes were applied in the Dashboard so it can correctly handle workflow documents numbers with decimals and dates. This update ensures that conditions applied in templates work accurately upon workflow execution, addressing a previous issue where certain conditions failed because the system was sending incompatible number and date formats.
Tooltips have been added for workflow container labels with long descriptions so users can easily view full container names and descriptions for better readability and distinction. Previously, values for longer container names were truncated, which made it challenging for users to differentiate between them.
The formatting process in Strato Documents has been enhanced to ensure that all formatting changes are saved while maintaining the document template’s structure, increasing the reliability of document saving. This resolves a reported issue wherein the formatting changes made to a document were unexpectedly removed due to a system cleanup performed as part of an earlier fix.
Settings for table borders have been adjusted accordingly to ensure that they are available to users and configurations made are updated upon saving, resolving an issue wherein users could not change the table border color and were met with an error upon template saving. This improvement allows users to apply their desired customizations without any disruptions.
The cleanup strategy in Strato Documents has been optimized so it targets active sections upon activation and implements immediate cleanup for pasted content. This mechanism ensures that even documents with complex elements and configurations are processed and loaded accordingly, preventing related document loading issues from occurring.
Adjustments have been made in the File Management’s syncing process to provide a smoother syncing experience for new users. The system now checks for missing sync dates before progressing, which resolves a reported syncing error that occurred when the new users' access cache was not updated properly.
